The All Progressives Congress (APC) is set to present the certificate of return to Governor Lucky Orimisan Ayiedatiwa, the party’s flag bearer for the November Ondo Governorship Election, on Monday, April 29. This follows his victory in the April 20 APC governorship shadow election, as declared by the Governor Usman Ododo-led 7-man primary election committee.
The presentation ceremony will take place at 4 pm at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja, immediately after the weekly meeting of the National Working Committee (NWC). Nze Chidi Duru, the APC Deputy National Organising Secretary, confirmed the schedule.
This development comes just three days after the party’s National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, appealed to aggrieved aspirants who participated in the shadow poll to rally behind the party’s candidate for the governorship election.
The certificate presentation marks a significant milestone in the party’s preparations for the November election, and is expected to further solidify Governor Ayiedatiwa’s candidacy.
