The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has revealed the identity of the senior officer who tragically passed away at the National Assembly on June 25, 2024.
According to a statement released by the service, the deceased officer was Essien Etop Andrew, a deputy comptroller of finance administration and technical service.
Andrew collapsed during a session of the House of Representatives Committee on Public Accounts at the National Assembly clinic in Abuja, after suddenly developing health complications. Despite efforts to revive him, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
