………As BAF Provides Free Medical Services to Osogbo Resident
Inside Osogbo, a leading digital media brand in Osun State, has successfully organized a novelty march between the Osun State personnel of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) and Osun Twitter FC.
ADULAWO NEWS reports that the event, which took place at the Osogbo Grammar School, was a friendly match aimed at promoting harmony and teamwork between the security personnel and the Twitter community in Osun State.
The match ended in a 1-1 draw, with both teams displaying impressive skills and sportsmanship. The event was attended by officials from Inside Osogbo, NSCDC, and Osun Twitter FC, who all praised the initiative as a step towards building a stronger and more united community.
In his reaction, Head Coach and Head of Sport Unit of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Osun State Command, Bankefa Olufemi, commented the organizer of the program, adding that or will improve healthy living and promote harmony among residents.
The event was followed by a free medical outreach program organized by the Benson Adeyemi Foundation (BAF), which provided free medical services to residents of Osogbo and other parts of the state.
BAF reaffirmed its commitment to promoting healthy living in Osun State through a free medical outreach program in Osogbo.
ADULAWO NEWS reports that the outreach is part of BAF’s ongoing efforts, spanning over eight months, to support the state government in improving residents’ lives.
Speaking to newsmen a representing BAF, Temitope Oladejo, revealed that the organization’s focus on encouraging healthy lifestyles, particularly through regular check-ups, regardless of financial circumstances.
He said, “This is a testament to what the organization stands for and also to work with the Osun State Government in making sure that the lives of the people are well improved by having an overall healthy lifestyle.
“This is our own way of giving back to the society and we are also committed to the effort of the government.
“Over months we have been running different outreaches, we are always happy to contribute our quota to the state government when it comes to ensuring that people have a healthy lifestyle.
“Our key focus is to make sure people maintain a healthy lifestyle and we want to encourage people to frequently go for check ups,” he added
The foundation made this known at the medical outreach programme where free medical services were provided for residents held on Sunday in Osogbo the Osun State capital.
Beneficiaries commended the organization’s commendable work, with Oluwatosin Adodo and Omokorede Anthonia expressing gratitude for the free medical services. Bankefa Olufemi, Head Coach of NSCDC Osun State Command, commended the program, noting its potential to promote harmony and healthy living among residents.
The freed medical outreach was held on Sunday to support a novelty match organized by Inside Osogbo, between the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Osun Command, and Osun Twitter FC that ended in 1-1 draw, held at the Osogbo Grammar School, Osogbo Osun State capital.
Another beneficiary, Omokorede Anthonia also lauded the team of the NGO, saying, “The service provided by BAF is top-notch, and we are grateful for their dedication to improving the health and lives of our community members.”
