The Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, has declared Monday, 8th July 2024, as a public holiday to commemorate the Islamic New Year, Hijirah 1446AH.
This was revealed in a statement issued by Commissioner for Home Affairs, Honourable R.K Aderibigbe and made available to newsmen on Thursday.
The Governor also appeals to all Muslim faithful to use this occasion to offer prayers for the peace, progress, and development of Osun State and Nigeria as a whole.
