This was revealed by the Chairman of OyoSUBEB, Nureni Adeniran, who made announcement during a press conference in Ibadan on Wednesday.

Adeniran reported that a total of 50,097 individuals successfully completed the application process and are now participating in the computer-based tests for the available positions.

He reassured the applicants that the precise date and time for their individual testing sessions had been conveyed to them via email or phone.

He therefore encouraged the applicants to remain vigilant and to check their respective email and phone for further updates.

Furthermore, Adeniran disclosed that the venue for the examinations is the University of Ibadan Distance Learning Centre, which is equipped with a computer-based Testing Centre in Ajibode, Ibadan.

He further emphasized that the University of Ibadan Distance Learning Centre is considered suitability to conduct these computer-based tests, citing its distinguished history and reputation in the realm of such examinations.

Adeniran has directed all candidates to produce photocopies of their CBT examination schedule and their application documents, which should include their passports obtained through the job portal.

The OYOSUBEB executive has clarified that these two documents are necessary for entry into the CBT examination hall.

Furthermore, he emphasized the importance of candidates strictly adhering to the specified time and date communicated by the Board, as any form of loitering around the centre will not be tolerated.

The Chairman has also stated that candidates who pass the computer-based tests will be required to participate in oral interviews.

Adeniran reiterated the Board’s commitment to a credible exercise, saying, “No applicant should rely on hear-says. The Board will always give you updates on each step of the exercise, so please beware of scammers.”

In the meantime, Adeniran disclosed that the Board is diligently working to finalize the process in a timely manner, with the objective of swiftly integrating successful candidates into the system.

This is to facilitate their contribution to the current reforms of the foundational education system within the state.
