Residents of Ileogbo and Oluponna in Ayedire Local Government Area, Osun State, have praised Governor Ademola Adeleke’s administration for inaugurating four motorized boreholes in their communities.
ADULAWO NEWS reports that the inauguration ceremony, Governor Adeleke, represented by Commissioner for Community and Rural Development, Hon. Gani Olaoluwa, assured residents of more projects to come.
The micro-projects completed by Osun Community and Social Development Agency (Osun CSDA), has provided clean water to Oke Odo, Ebu Alawe, Ire-Akari, and Alafiatayo communities, aims by providing clean water to the communities to make life more comfortable for them.
Monarchs Olu of Ileogbo, Oba Habeeb Agbaje, and Olupo of Oluponna, Oba AbdulRaheem Gbamgboye, commended Governor Adeleke’s commitment to citizens’ welfare.
“The motorized boreholes will alleviate our subjects’ suffering and provide access to clean water,” he said.
On her part Osun-CSDA General Manager, Mrs. Funmi Abokede, applauded Governor Adeleke’s support and unwavering love for Osun State citizens.
Community leaders, including Ileogbo Unity Forum Chairman, Mr. Anthony Owolabi, and former Ayedire Local Government Caretaker Chairman, Hon. Solomon Ogunbiyi, praised the governor’s initiatives.
A resident, Bola Adebayo, expressed gratitude, stating the motorized borehole has saved the community from searching for drinkable water.
The projects demonstrate Governor Adeleke’s commitment to improving lives in Osun State.
Another residents, Mr. Azeez Ilesanmi and Mrs. Iyabode Bello said, “We all know the significance of water in our society. There is nothing one does in life without using water, so you can agree with me that water is life.
