The former deputy governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Chief Adebayo Adelabu (OFR), is now set to officially declared his intention to contest for the governorship seat of Oyo State on the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC).
This was revealed in a statement by his media aide, Comrade Femi Awogboro.
According to him, the official declaration will hold at the old APC Secretariat, Oke Ado, Ibadan, on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at 12pm.
Adelabu, who was the 2019 governorship candidate of the APC, said that he is more prepared and better positioned to unseat the Peoples Democratic Party-led government in the state if he picks the party’s ticket.
The former CBN deputy governor and Agbaakin Parakoyi of Ibadan land urged members and leaders of APC, as well as well wishers across the state to attend the official declaration.
