The State of Osun House of Assembly has today screened the Governor Gboyega Oyetola’s Commissioner/ Special Advisers designates sent to the House of Assembly for screening.
The Governor’s nominees were screened at the Parliamentary room of the State House of Assembly Osogbo.
The Deputy Speaker Hon. Simeon Popoola who presided over the screening noted that both the executive and legislature arm government are comprises competent people who discharged their duties accordingly. He said that the Commissioner/ Special Advisers designates perform credibly during the screening exercise.
He said that the House of Assembly needs to perform the screening in fulfilling the Section 192 of 1999 Constitution of Federal Republic of Nigeria as amendment.
According to him, “We screen the governors nominees in accordance with section 192 of the constitution”.
“The commissioner / special advisers designates presented themselves well at the screening exercise” he added.
He confirmed that the nominees are subdue to thorough screening before the lawmakers.
In their separate response the Commissioner/ Special Advisers designates thanks the state governor Mr. Gboyega Oyetola for the opportunity bestowed on them.
They promised to repeat and even improve on their previous assignment when get to office.
They vowed to keep on with their good characters to the people and state at large.
They also promised the people of the state to expect best services in their dealings.
The Commissioners / Special Advisers screened before the lawmakers today including Mr. Henry Olanipekun, Alhaja Lateefat Giwa, Mr.Bakare Aleem, Mr. Solagbade Oladeepo, Mrs. Olubukola Olaboopo and Hon. Nike Omoworare respectively.
