President of Osun State Polytechnic Iree Alumni Association (OSPAA), Alh Yakub Akeem Adebayo has commended the decision of Osun State Government on the suspension of the implementation of the new tuition fees policy of Osun State Polytechnic Iree.
The president stated this while speaking with newsmen in Osogbo, the Osun State capital.
Alh Akeem Adebayo described the proactiveness of governor Ademola Adeleke’s decision as a welcome development, adding that the decision has already putting smiles on the faces of students and their parents.

Oyetola Denies Taken Loans In Four Years
According to him, one of the yearnings and aspirations of Osun people is to have access to good, quality and affordable education in the state.
It will be recalled that the tuition fees for fresh students was increased from #67,850 to #112,850 for students offering science related courses while those offering management related courses were asked to pay #97,300 from the initial #57,300.
The suspension was approved after the students union leadership of the institution called the attention of the Government to the increment and appealed for it to be reversed” he added.

OSPAA President therefore appealed to government not to relent in its oars in making life more bearable for citizens of the state.
