A Chief Magistrate’s Court sitting in Ikeja Lagos State on Tuesday ordered a remand of a man identified as Roland Okajare in a correctional centre for allegedly defiling his 18-year-old daughter.
The 36-year-old Okajare was charged with one count charge of defilement by the police.
The prosecutor, ASP Kehinde Ajayi, told the court that Okajare committed the offence on January 4, in his shop at the Ikotun Bus Stop, Lagos.
The Magistrate, Mrs. E. Kubeinje, ordered that he should be remanded in Kirikiri Custodial Centre.
Kubeinje, who referred the case file to the Lagos State Director of Public Prosecution (DPP), adjourned the case to April 12, 2023.
