In order to ease the payment of Hajj fares for the forthcoming pilgrimage to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, ,Osun State Muslim pilgrims Welfare Board ( OSMPWB )has extended the deadline to the 31st of January, 2024.
Chairman of the Board, Dr Moruf lshola, disclosed this shortly after a management meeting held at the Boards Secretariat.
According to him, the extension was arrived at to make it convenient for the intending Pilgrims in view of the current economic situation of things in the state and the country at large.
While advising them to use the opportunity of the extension to top up their deposits, especially those of them whose payment is below N4.5m,Dr Ishola, maintained that, the policy of first come, first served will be strictly adhered to.

Meanwhile, a cross section of the intending pilgrims, who per chance, were in the premises of the Board when the extension of payment was announced by Dr Ishola, expressed happiness over the development.
While commending the Board, they pledged their readiness to meet up with the newly announced 31st of January deadline.
