The Paramount Ruler of Iwoland, HIM Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, has expressed optimism in the administration of President Ahmed Tinubu, saying the present economic challenge is a passing phase to economic recovery.
He revealed the economic quagmire resulting from subsidy removal is natural in comparison to some advanced nations that have taken similar steps before. He said the fuel subsidy is an organized crime enjoyed by the few rich. “Though, subsidy removal has created a challenging moment for Nigerians but it is one of the primary foundational steps towards economic recovery and prosperity of the nation ”

He stated the government of President Tinubu has successfully recorded two courageous and fundamental decisions- subsidy removal and floating of refineries. He said those two arrangements are acute to place Nigeria on the path of greatness”
