Atiku Speaks On The Removal Of The PDP National Chairman

Presidential Candidate of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar has debunked claims of plotting to remove the National Chairman of the Party, Prince Uche Secondus.

Atiku described the claims associating him to the plot as “beer parlour talk” and mischief, in a statement on Wednesday by his Media Adviser, Paul Ibeh.

He said that he had already triggered a reconciliation process with party stakeholder and that he even visited Port Harcourt and Delta for the purpose of strengthening the party and cannot all of a sudden make a u-turn and get involved in processes that are alien to the constitution of the PDP.

“Atiku is an individual, yes a major stakeholder in the party, and he has taken steps to bring everybody together to see how these issues can be peacefully resolved. They are all related, either the one that happens now or before. They are all part of the larger problem facing the party”.

He called on all stakeholder to put heads together and salvage the party from imminent implosion.
