Recruitment: Ekiti Govt Announces New Date For Sevice Commission Examination

The Ekiti State Government has announced a new date of examination for job seekers who obtained forms advertised through its Local Government Service Commission,(LGSC).

This was contained in a statement issued and signed on Tuesday by the Director of Employment and Posting of EKLGSC, Mrs Adewumi Fawekun and made to newsmen in Ado-Ekiti.

According to the statement, “those in the category of Community Development Inspectors and Higher Executive Officers will write their examination on the first day, Friday, Jan. 21”

The director added the examination for those in the category of Procurement Officers, Environmental Officers, Environmental Technology and Environmental Technicians will hold on Saturday, Jan. 22.

The statement reads in part:

“This is to inform the general public, especially candidates who obtained employment forms at the Ekiti Local Government Service Commission,(EKLGSC), that the examination which was earlier put on hold has now been rescheduled as follows:

“Day one, Friday, Jan. 21 and day two, Saturday, Jan. 22, at 9 a.m daily, while the venue is Olaoluwa Muslim Grammar School, Ado-Ekiti,” the statement said.

It would be recalled that the Ekiti Governor, Kayode Fayemi, had in December 2021, directed that the N1,000 paid for application forms be refunded to applicants.

Recalls that the examination was earlier scheduled to hold in December 2021, at the Ekiti University, Ado-Ekiti (EKSU) lecture theatres.
