2023: Oyo PDP Tells Aspirants To Present Credentials For Screening

 

The ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Oyo state chapter has admonished candidates vying for various elective positions to come with the original copies of their credentials.

According to the party in the state, the screening was compulsory for aspirants vying for the National Assembly and House of Assembly seats.

There are three senatorial districts and fourteen House of Representatives seats in Oyo State.

The State also has 32 House of Assembly seats.

The party advised all aspirants contesting for these seats to come with the original copies of their credentials for screening ahead of the forthcoming primary election.

Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke, the party secretary revealed this in a statement issued and available to newsmen on Tuesday.

The statement read partly;

“This is to inform all our State Assembly and National Assembly Aspirants that there will be screening tomorrow at the State Secretariat, Molete, Ibadan.

“For the purpose of emphasis, National Assembly and State Assembly Aspirants screening is tomorrow Wednesday 27th of April, 2022 at the State Secretariat, Molete, Ibadan “All Aspirants should come with the original copies of their necessary credentials.

“The screening starts by 08am,” he said.
