President Muhammadu Buhari on Saturday campaigned vigorously for the presidential aspiration of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu in Nasarawa State.
After Tinubu’s outburst during the Abeokuta, Ogun State campaign that 5th Columnists were using the Naira scarcity and fuel crisis to hinder the 2023 presidential election, there have been insinuations that all is not well between the duo.

But on Saturday in Nasarawa State, Buhari drummed support for Tinubu as he has not done before.

He said: “God willing, we are winning through and through, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, I knew him over 20 years ago. I will continue to campaign for Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“We promise you that your children and grandchildren will have no regret about the country and about us.
“Your children and grandchildren will be handed a banner, a banner without stain.”

The president added, “I am here to campaign for Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the next President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
“We are all voting for Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the next President; he is a committed Nigerian, and he will not fail you.”
