Police Arrest Police Officer Who Attempted To kill Colleague On Duty

 

The Kaduna State Police Command has arrested an officer identified as Inspector Moses Paul, for attempting to strangle his colleague named Inspector Simnawa Paul, while they were both on duty at the Police Mobile Force base of 62 Squadron Kafanchan on June 16.

This was contained in a statement released on Monday.

The police said, Inspector Moses Paul tried to strangle, using a rope, the neck of his unsuspecting colleague.

‘According to the statement, ”victim was however rescued by two other Police Officers whose attention were drawn by his cries.”

The police added that preliminary inquiries reveals the primary motive was in attempt to cart away Inspector Simnawa Paul’s rifle while the the remote cause of action will be ascertained at the end of the full scale investigation during which the culprit will be facing both disciplinary and legal proceedings.
