The President of the Employers Association for Private Employment Agencies of Nigeria (EAPEAN), Dr. Olufemi Ogunlowo, FAON, has felicitated members and Christians around the globe on the occasion of this year’s Easter celebrations.
In a statement issued and signed by EAPEAN President, Ogunlowo, urges members to imbibe the message of the celebration which are sacrifice, hope, love and unity. “As we celebrate this joyous occasion, it is important to reflect on the transformative power of hope, love, and resilience”.
The statement read:
“Easter serves as a reminder of the importance of hope in our lives. It is a time to cherish moments of joy and upliftment, even during challenging times. On behalf of EAPEAN, I would like to extend our warmest greetings to all our stakeholders, employees, and members.
“Over the past year, our nation has faced numerous challenges due to the global pandemic, fiscal and monetary policies. The economic impact has been significant, and many individuals and businesses have been affected. However, it is in times of adversity that we demonstrate our resilience and determination to overcome.
“Private employment agencies have played a vital role in supporting individuals and employers during this challenging time. We have worked tirelessly to connect job seekers with employers, ensuring that talent is matched to the right opportunities. By collaborating with each other, we have been able to navigate the uncertainties and maintain a steady flow of employment.
“The health and safety of our employees and clients have always been our top priority. We have implemented strict safety measures and followed all necessary guidelines to protect everyone’s well-being. Our members have been instrumental in promoting safe practices and ensuring compliance with government directives.
“As we celebrate the Easter season, let us be mindful of the opportunities that lie ahead. We have witnessed a remarkable resilience in our workforce and a commitment to overcoming adversity. Together, we can navigate the challenges posed by the ongoing economic downturn and emerge stronger.
Meanwhile, Ogunlowo has appreciated members for their contribution to the launch of the Employers Association for Private Employment Agencies of Nigeria (EAPEAN) and the 1st Private Employment Agencies Chief Executives Conference which will hold on Thursday, April 18, 2024 in Lagos.
In a terse statement, Ogunlowo said “On behalf of the EAPEAN Launch Organizing Committee, the Board of Trustees and the Executive Council, I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to all the member companies who have generously contributed to the launch of the Association. Your support and dedication have been instrumental in getting us closer to our goal.

Employers Association for Private Employment Agencies of Nigeria (EAPEAN) formerly known as Human Capital Providers Association of Nigeria (HuCaPAN) is the umbrella organization of licenced Private Employment Agencies (PEAs) also known as recruiters in Nigeria.
EAPEAN provides a platform for Private Employment Agencies to interact with the regulatory body (government), labour communities and other relevant institutions within and outside Nigeria to develop and promote International Labour Organisation (ILO) standards and ethical practices in the recruitment, deployment and management of Outsourced Personnel in Nigeria.
