Governor Ademola Adeleke has marked the 33rd anniversary of the state’s creation with a call to action for collective development.
Governor made the statement in a Broadcast message on Tuesday in Osogbo.
The statement reads, “Fellow citizens of Osun State,
“Today, we celebrate the 33rd anniversary of our state’s creation. We remember the struggles and sacrifices of our founding fathers, who fought for our unique identity and aspirations.
“We have made significant strides in the past 33 years, with progress in education, healthcare, infrastructure, and economic development. However, we must continue to work together to build a greater Osun.
“As your Governor, I pledge to lead with transparency, dedication, and accountability. I call on all citizens to contribute to our state’s development, embracing the values of hard work, integrity, and community.
“Let us renew our commitment to the vision that inspired Osun State’s creation and work towards a future where every citizen can thrive.
“Thank you for your support, and happy anniversary to us all. May God bless Osun State and the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”
